We have known that Cummins set two basic factories in China, one in short is DCEC Cummins, another one is called CCEC Cummins.

Dongfeng Cummins Engine Co.,ltd is a joint venture company between Dongfeng automobile Co.,ltd (China) and Cummins Co.,ltd (USA), located in Xiangyang city, Hubei province.
Main products manufactured by the joint venture are the Cummins designed midrange mechanical B/C/L series engines, ISDe/ISLe/ISZ/QSB/QSL/QSZ series eletronic engines, B/C/L series natural gas engines, which can meet Euro III, Euro IV, Tier3/stage IIIA emissions legislations. Engine displacement will cover 3.9L/4.5L/5.9L/6.7L/8.3L/8.9L/13L, with engine power ranging from 80-550HP.

Every emission challenge requires engine exhaust gas re circulation

  Exhaust Gas Re circulation   is one of the technologies that can be utilized to reduce NOx (nitrogen oxides) (hereafter referred to as "EGR"). EGR reduces NOx emissions by lowering the combustion temperature by reducing the amount of oxygen in the cylinder, which is an efficient procedure for reducing NOx.   EGR (Exhaust Gas Re-circulation ) is a technology that reduces NOx emissions from engines. A portion of the air is replaced by carbon dioxide when exhaust gases are recirculated into the engine cylinders. The reduced amount of oxygen in this process lowers the combustion temperature, which minimizes the amount of nitrogen oxides produced. Exhaust gases can either be cooled outside and routed into the intake manifold, or they can be regulated internally through the camshaft.
